Your profile:

Your duties:
• The Programme Manager is responsible to the Flight Physics Transnational Cluster Leader for the full project lifecycle, managing a multi-disciplinary team, sub contracts, budgets/costs, schedules, and customer expectations using formal PM methodology such as EVM.
• Produce detailed programme management plans identifying programme activities and milestones, resource requirements; EVM and Risk
• Plan and execute successful management of the customers and subcontractors to achieve the programme goals on schedule.
• Provide the focus on cash-flow throughout the programme lifecycle by ensuring milestones are met, product delivered on time and commitments honoured
• Establish/ monitor requisite financial controls including Schedule, Budget/cost reporting & management using Earned Value (EV) techniques.
• Risk management in association with the Risk manager
• Preparation and presentation for monthly internal Programme Review Board – Sales, Cash flow, deliveries, resources, risk, progress
• Manage customer interface, preparation and presentation of Customer reports & Reviews where relevant
• Ensure the goals/ objectives are clearly communicated, understood and executed by the programme team
• Develop strong relationships with the customers and subcontractors to ensure that they are meeting their commitments to the project.

Your duties:
• Carry out technical tasks in support of aerodynamic data analysis, CFD, modelling (from grid generation to 3D complex fluid simulation & post processing), weight & balance assessment of new as well as existing aircraft and the aeroelastic analysis of wing structures
• Liaise with internal & external teams
• Lead tasks & provide advise in your respective area of expertise
• Independent implementation of customers’ requirements to fulfil the given specifications and create appropriate solutions
• Active member of highly qualified engineering teams working from project conception to final delivery

Your duties :
You’ll be leader of a team projecting, developing and designing aircraft cabin interior components. You independently implement customers’ wishes with respect to different specifications and create individual solutions for our customers. With a qualified team you support them right up to the final realization.

Your profile :
We expect that, apart from a solid knowledge in technical and electrical construction, you have a vocational experience of at least 5 years in the area of aircraft cabin design. Your profile:
• PhD student, in his final stages of study, ideally in the fields of mathematics and/or CFD
• Aeronautical background would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of UNIX/Windows applications
• Ready to support a six month highly sophisticated R&D activity

Your duties:
• Establish technical link between our customer and DLR, the project leading organisation
• Review and summarize existing technical work internally (our customer’s organisation) and externally
• Assess and evaluate already developed methods and applications (DLR and other project partners)
