Aerodynamics
CeBeNetwork has been successfully involved in supporting the aviation industry in the area of aircraft development for many years.
  • In the field of experimental aerodynamics, CeBeNetwork oversees complex aerodynamic measuring operations in various European wind tunnels. In addition we provide model and test campaign preparation management. As well as follow up analysis of the acquired measurement data.

  • In the area of development we participate in the design of aerodynamic testing models. Utilizing CAD systems like CATIA V4 and V5 as construction tools for model and component design.

  • The operation and supervision of wind tunnel command and measuring equipment is another service that we provide to the aviation industry. This involves the management of highly complex control systems and measurement instrumentation- including balances and pressure sensors for the evaluation of aerodynamic loads. As well as turbine simulation equipment i.e. so called Turbine Power Simulators- which are small air pressure driven turbines with a rated output of ca. 40kW.
  • In the field of theoretical aerodynamics we are involved in the evaluation and analysis of aerodynamic phenomena in the wake of modern passenger aircraft. This is an area of increasing interest, because through optimisation of downstream behaviour aerodynamic resistance, aircraft separation distances and sound emissions can be reduced. Calculations of such complex analyses are able to be performed by CeBeNetwork with our available PCs and Unix-workstations.
